HARTFORD SHOW INFORMATION BELOW
FORMAT:
This show is held in Hall A at the Connecticut Convention Center. The booth
area is a wide-open area allowing ample space to move between
exhibits and see the new items for the season. There will be a
concession area within the hall. Please plan on working the show
with appointments so everyone makes the best use of their time.
PRE-REGISTRATION WILL BE MAILED SEPERATELY. Expect your
pre-registration postcard in the mail soon. To Pre-Register,
your Pre-registration postcard or e-mail must be received
at the EORA office by July 7, 2008. On-line
Pre-registration is available at www.eora.org. Your
buyers badge(s) will be waiting for you at the EORA registration
desk at the show. Buyers that have Pre-registered can pick up
their badges at the registration desk in front of Hall A at
8:00a.m.
We do not mail out
badges.
IF YOU
PLAN TO REGISTER AT THE SHOW: Proper ID will be required.
Proof of Retail establishment will be requested, ie: Business
Card with your name, store check, pay stub, order or invoice
copy, etc. will suffice. If the employees name is not on the
store business card they will not be allowed in the show.

Marriott will be the host hotel for the show. It is in the same
complex as the Connecticut Convention Center (CTCC). This is a
state of the art hotel with all the comforts you can imagine.
Stay at the Marriott and you will not need your vehicle until
you pack up and drive home. There is a complimentary downtown
“Star Shuttle” service that runs a 2 mile radius between 7:00 am
and 11:00 pm and stops at all the restaurants. Are you a runner
or walker? If so, take advantage of the Riverwalk trail located
by the Marriott and CTCC. It’s very scenic and well lite. The
EORA the room rate is $145.00 per night. This
rate expires June 1st . There are two Starbucks coffee
shops on site, a business center that handles UPS, wireless

SPECIAL
EVENTS: Sunday, July 27 OIA will be conducting
Outdoor University. Workshops will be held between 1-6pm
